There's a wide grin on Dani's face as she and Enzo - both in ghost mode and both invisible - pass through her door and into Amity Park.

(There's also a flock of butterflies loose in her stomach, but we won't talk about them)

"Well, here we are!" she exclaims quietly. "Welcome to Amity Park!"

Dani shoots her 'brother' a Look. "'Junior Phantom Scouts'?" she echoes. "Are you serious?"

Danny facepalms and mutters something about Fenton genes.

Enzo isn't paying any attention to this exchange. He's staring at Dani with an expression halfway between 'dreamy' and 'drool'.

"You," he informs her, "were so hot back there."

Dani ducks her head and blushes, but smiles at him all the same.

"Thanks, Enzo. You weren't too bad yourself."

"Thanks," he says, running his fingers through his hair. "I mean, the way you..." He gestures, vaguely indicating something particularly painful she inflicted on the Box Ghost. "Wow," he concludes.

Have we mentioned that being organic is doing things to his hormone levels? 'Cause it is.

"A-hem."

He's still here, you know.

"Oh...sorry." Dani shoots a sheepish grin at Danny.

Enzo, who had almost forgotten about Danny, starts slightly and clamps his lips shut.

Danny gives Enzo a small glare, then asks Dani oh-so-nonchalantly, "Sure you don't want me to come along on your trip?"

Her reaction is to shoot a glare back at Danny.

"Yes, I'm sure."

"Juuuust checking."

"We'll be chaperoned," Enzo says, annoyed (and a little embarrassed). "It's a whole military base."

"I think that's enough, Danny," Jazz pipes up as she rejoins the conversation. "You could just, y'know, show that you trust them."

"I could do that," says Danny with a show of skepticism. "Or, I could..."

"If you follow us Danny, I'll never forgive you!"

"All right, all right." Beat. "But you can zap him if he gets too fresh, y'know."

"I'm not gonna!"

He will get only as fresh as Dani wants him to.

"Fine, if it'll make you happy, I'll blast him if I have to," Dani huffs.

She doesn't mention that it's going to be a very big if...

"That's all I wanted to hear," says Danny beatifically.

"Gee, thanks."

Dani shoots Enzo a look that pretty much says "behave". After all, it could be worse.

Besides, they can always complain about him once he's out of earshot.

Danny reverts to human and shakes the Fenton Thermos. "I gotta send this guy home. Again. Jazz, you wanna take them back to Milliways?"

"No problem," Jazz assures him. She then turns to the two younger halfas.

"C'mon, let's get this stuff picked up. We've blocked the sidewalk long enough."
