OOM: Moving Day
It's a bittersweet day as, with the help of her new family, Dani moves all of her belongings out of her Milliways apartment and into her new quarters at Fenton Works. Each possession she uncovers and packs away brings back memories, mostly happy but some sad.
And then, of course, are the ones that she's not sure she'll be able to explain to Jack and Maddie...

Enzo looks defiant. "Yeah. I'm her boyfriend. Have been for a year now."
He turns a sheepish smile on Dani. "Can the pin double as a present for that, too? Things got so buggy, I forgot..."

And don't worry; she totally feels bad about not getting him anything.

"We've known each other since the first day I came to Milliways. If it hadn't been for Enzo, and his family, I wouldn't even be here right now."

"And while she may be about two years old chronologically, physically, mentally and emotionally Dani is about fourteen," she adds.

"She knows what she's doing. Sort of. I think." He gives Enzo a small glare. "She'd better."

"Besides," he adds, "I've been doing the overprotective brother bit for a year and a half. If I haven't scared him off by now, I think we're stuck with him."

He turns to Jack and Maddie. "Mr. and Mrs. Fenton, please, I want you to like me. But even if you don't, Dani and I are in love and you're not getting rid of me."

She personally has few qualms about the pair's relationship. While she thinks they may be jumping the gun on the whole "love" thing, it's obvious that they care about each other a great deal.

He's a little iffy about his daughter dating a kid who's not even made of the same fundamental particles, but, he supposes, you have to be open-minded about such things these days.
"All right." And then, because he simply can't give in that easily, "But I'm keeping my eye on you."
