Pushing a sweater out of the way, Dani walks through her closet/door to Milliways and into her bedroom. She stops and looks over her shoulder behind her.

"So, hey, I'm having a party this weekend and I wondered if you wanted to come?"

Dani heaves a sigh, the sigh of someone who's used to dealing with the totally oblivious on a daily basis.

"Sorry, Dash, but I've got plans. My boyfriend just came in from out of town."

If she stresses it hard enough, do you think he'll get it?

"He did?" says Dash, nonplussed. He looks all around before finally seeming to register Enzo's presence.

"You mean this?"

"Yes," she replies, glaring at Dash. "His name is Enzo, and we've been dating for over a year."

"How old are you, kid?" Dash demands. Dim though he is, as a big guy himself, he's not easily fooled by size.

"First of all, the age gap in our relationship is none of your business. Second, even if I weren't with Enzo I'd still turn you down. Did it ever occur to you that I just don't like you?"
