There's a wide grin on Dani's face as she and Enzo - both in ghost mode and both invisible - pass through her door and into Amity Park.

(There's also a flock of butterflies loose in her stomach, but we won't talk about them)

"Well, here we are!" she exclaims quietly. "Welcome to Amity Park!"

"I am not pathetic! I am the Box Ghooooost!"

He raises his hands, and Enzo's suitcase rises into the air. It's fairly large, and semi-hard-sided. Pathetic or not, you'd rather not be smacked upside the head with it, or whatever he has in mind.

Danny sighs and sets down his bags. "Let's make this quick," he says, and transforms.

And Dani is right behind him. "Funny; I don't remember inviting this guy on our shopping trip," she quips.

"Maybe we should've," Enzo declares before going ghost himself. "He needs some new clothes."

The Box Ghost looks startled at the sudden influx of halfas, but recovers his composure, if it can be called that.

"These clothes are very practical!" he declares. "The Box Ghost does not need your fancy jumpsuits! BEWARE!"

And the empty suitcase flings itself over Danny's head.

"Heymph!" Danny falls on his butt before he can think to phase.

"Danny!"

Without hesitation Dani rushes and practically tackles the Box Ghost. No ectoplasmic blasts, just a plain ol' fashioned tackle.

No one messes with her big brother. Not even a ghost this lame.

Enzo watches her admiringly for half a second before he remembers to dive in as well. He flies around behind and delivers a well-trained kick to the small of the Box Ghost's back, simultaneously summoning a ball of magenta energy in one hand in case he gets a clear shot.

"Oomph! I am the oof! Fear meyowch!"

Danny unpacks himself in short order, uninjured but for his pride, and was about to join the melee, except he hardly seems to be needed. In fact, he kind of wishes he had some popcorn.

Still, he should probably get out the thermos, shouldn't he?

Probably.

Before Dani and/or Enzo prove that it's possible to beat a ghost to death ~~again~~.

Although they are demonstrating nicely that their complementary energy colours produce a lovely white light when they intersect. Isn't science grand?

He is the Box Ghost! The thing that goes bump in the attic! The scourge of UPS! The Box Ghost does not fear any little children!

The Box Ghost would kind of like a nice lie-down, though.

Yeah, Danny's gonna have pity on the poor guy.

"Okay, you two," he shouts. "Out of the way, unless you want to be stuck in a tiny room with Einstein here."

Maybe a little reluctantly, Dani pulls back.

"He's all yours!" she says as soon as she's sure she and Enzo are out of range.

Ah, well. It was fun practice while it lasted. Besides, he gets to see the thermos in action!

Freeeeeeeeeew! The Box Ghost gets pulled into the beam (howling about it a bit less than usual) and is sucked into the thermos with a slightly surprising thunk.

"Good job, Junior Phantom Scouts!" He considers this, then shakes his head. "Nah, that's no good."

Dani shoots her 'brother' a Look. "'Junior Phantom Scouts'?" she echoes. "Are you serious?"

Danny facepalms and mutters something about Fenton genes.

Enzo isn't paying any attention to this exchange. He's staring at Dani with an expression halfway between 'dreamy' and 'drool'.

"You," he informs her, "were so hot back there."

Dani ducks her head and blushes, but smiles at him all the same.

"Thanks, Enzo. You weren't too bad yourself."

"Thanks," he says, running his fingers through his hair. "I mean, the way you..." He gestures, vaguely indicating something particularly painful she inflicted on the Box Ghost. "Wow," he concludes.

Have we mentioned that being organic is doing things to his hormone levels? 'Cause it is.

"A-hem."

He's still here, you know.

"Oh...sorry." Dani shoots a sheepish grin at Danny.

Enzo, who had almost forgotten about Danny, starts slightly and clamps his lips shut.
