The Fenton-Matrix Wedding: Earth Edition

The Earth wedding is held on a small stretch of beach in Chile, the same stretch of beach where ten years ago a sprite and a half-a shared their first kiss. The set-up is semi-formal, but not too casual. Even the ropes cordoning off the area blend in with the decorations, done up in mint green and lavender.

(There may or may not be bazookas hidden in the flower arrangements, in case of potential human or ghostly interference.)

After the ceremony comes the reception, with dancing, a luncheon featuring steak tenderloin, a crab boil, and summer squash lasagna, and swimming.

Take your pictures of the matron of honor while you can, folks, because this is the only time you will see it: Sam Manson in a sundress. She's bearing up well—this is about Dani, not her, after all—but she is very pointedly ignoring how ecstatic her parents are.

Most male members of the wedding party are wearing lightweight but nice button-down shirts in mint or lavender, and white slacks. (Little Gil may have opted for the sundress, but he still matches the overall look of the thing.)

The father of the bride has somehow gotten away with wearing an eye-watering aloha shirt. At least it includes green and purple?

Autor has been fulfilling his duties as an usher, seating people of all stripes--human, sprite-turned-into-human, and others. He's quite somber and serious, as this is a somber and serious occasion, dressed in a mint green and lavender button down. He manages a small smile for Enzo and his bride, both looking radiant and resplendent.

Yeah, the ad said semi-formal, but Red looks good in a tux (and the heat doesn't bother him anyways). It's white, with mint-green trim and vest, and a lavender tie.

He stands proud in his best man position, looking on at the two getting hitched fondly.

Tucker Foley is not who most people would expect to officiate a wedding, but he's happy to do them a favor and claims he wants to cross it off his bucket list. (Considering his CV so far, this actually makes sense.)

"Thank you all for flying out here, ladies and gents, it's an honor to officiate for you this evening. We are here to join this half-ghost and this antivirus software in matrimony, and I'm pretty sure that's a sentence that's never been said before."

Now if only they can keep him from turning it into a full-fledged stand-up routine.

Tyler is actually wearing a formal suit and dress shirt on the beach for this. Well, technically it's an outfit that was probably captchalogued into his Alternean Troll card deck.

It's the principle of the thing! Never mind that at the first opportunity he gets, the tacky video game hawaiian shirt and swimtrunks are coming out, because they held their wedding on a beach and that is AWESOME.

"Congrats, dude." He's grinning up at Enzo and Dani, "Congrats Dani! You guys are gonna do fine."

"Congratulations, Enzo and Dani," Autor says, offering his hand to each of them after waiting in the receiving line. It's quite a line; everyone wants to congratulate the happy couple. Autor doesn't intend to take up too much of the busy bride and groom's time, simply offer his heartfelt wishes.

Clementine gives them both rather hearty handshakes, having managed not to melt in the direct sunlight. She is also...almost shockingly dressed in a tasteful manner. Stunning! She's wearing a purple knit dress that's only slightly low-cut and clingy but comes with big triangle-shaped golden earrings and huge white platform heels.

She's come stag - Sam is stuck in Miami with Michael doing a job, but has sent his regards in gift form.

Swimming is for ducks. Red is here for the food (and maybe the dancing, it is a wedding reception).

He doesn't even need a crab cracker, a quick bang with the stone fist does the job just fine.

The tux has been ditched and he's now in a loud Hawaiian shirt and board shorts, hitting all the party stops. Anyone can run into him eating, on the floor, or wading in the shallows.

Autor drops off his gifts before the reception starts, as he was busy being an usher. The gifts are two-fold: one, a map of the world personalized with Enzo and Dani's names and the date of their Earth wedding; and two, a map of Mainframe with the same information.

Bonnie has been busy with her needle, making them a big patchwork quilt. It's the sort of thing that just seems right to give to newlyweds, though she hopes it's not too old-fashioned for the couple.

Clementine, in partnership with her SO Sam, have left Dani and Enzo an actually really nice silver picture frame, which is easily digitized and also easily usable as a digital picture frame.
